Top-ranked, California firm is in need of a Network Manager.
The Network Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the firm’s computer network. You will ensure that the network is operating efficiently and effectively, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and plan and implement upgrades as necessary to maintain optimal performance. The Network Manager will work closely with the Director of IT to ensure the smooth operation of the firm’s technology infrastructure.
- Oversee the daily operations of the organization's computer network, including monitoring network performance, troubleshooting network problems, and optimizing network performance.
- Work closely with other IT professionals to plan and implement upgrades to the network infrastructure, including hardware and software updates.
- Manage the installation and configuration of network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Develop and implement network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems, to protect the organization's data and systems.
- 5+ years of experience in network administration or a related field.
- Experience with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Strong knowledge of network security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant industry certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CISSP, are a plus.
