Estate Planning Attorney with Boutique Firm

Description

A boutique, California law firm is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to provide legal guidance and advice on estate planning, wealth preservation, and asset distribution matters.

Responsibilities

Counsel clients on estate planning, tax, and probate issues
Develop and implement customized estate plans
Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives
Conduct legal research on state and federal laws related to estate planning and tax issues
Represent clients in court proceedings related to estate planning and probate matters
Review and analyze complex financial and tax information related to estate planning
Advise clients on strategies for minimizing taxes and preserving wealth for future generations
Educate clients on the benefits of estate planning and the consequences of failing to plan
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty
Collaborate with other legal professionals and financial advisors to provide comprehensive estate planning solutions

Qualifications

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the state bar
At least 3-5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, and tax law
Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
Demonstrated track record of building long-term relationships with clients
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
Experience with estate planning software a plus
