A large California law firm is seeking a skilled and highly organized Litigation Secretary to provide comprehensive administrative support to our legal team in handling litigation cases. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have a strong understanding of legal procedures and terminology. The Litigation Secretary will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our litigation department by managing case files, preparing legal documents, and maintaining accurate records. - High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of proven experience as a litigation secretary or legal secretary in a law firm or legal department.
- Must know TOC/TOA
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and court procedures
- Experience with E-filing in Federal & State courts
- Proficiency in using legal case management software, MS Office Suite, and legal research databases.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional demeanor and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
