A large law firm is seeking a Patent Paralegal to join its team. As a Patent/IP Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to our team of attorneys and clients in matters related to patents and intellectual property. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously will be essential in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm’s legal services. - Bachelor's degree.
- 7+ years of proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a law firm or corporate legal department.
- In-depth knowledge of patent and intellectual property laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Familiarity with patent prosecution and patent docketing processes.
- Proficiency in conducting legal and technical research using relevant databases and resources.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in using legal software and applications (e.g., IP management systems, docketing software, Microsoft Office Suite).
