As an Employment Law Legal Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys and legal professionals specializing in employment law matters. You will provide essential administrative and organizational assistance, ensuring the smooth functioning of the employment law practice. Your responsibilities will involve document preparation, maintaining case files, communicating with clients, scheduling appointments, and handling various tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of the law firm.
- 2+ years of prior experience as a legal secretary or in a law office setting is desirable, particularly in employment law or a related practice area.
- Strong experience working with discovery
- e-Filing experience in both Federal & State Courts
- Working knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and employment law concepts is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other legal software applications.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
- Must type a minimum of 40 wpm.
