Description

A top municipal law firm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis. The Financial Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and supporting decision-making processes through insightful analysis.

 

  • Bachelor's degree required. CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems. Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Law Firm experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the finance team and across departments.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
