An Insurance Defense law firm is seeking a skilled and organized Litigation Secretary to join its downtown office. As a Litigation Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the legal team by efficiently managing administrative tasks, document preparation, and communication. Your attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and familiarity with legal procedures will contribute to the success of the firm’s litigation efforts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a litigation secretary in a law firm setting, with a focus on insurance defense cases.
- Proficiency in using legal software such as MS Office Suite, legal document management systems, and e-filing platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and case management.
- Basic understanding of legal terminology, court procedures, and insurance defense concepts.
