IP Associate for a San Fernando Valley Office
Description
Mid-sized, well-respected law firm seeks an experienced IP Attorney to join its team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide counsel on IP matters
- Draft and negotiate agreements related to IP, such as licensing agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and distribution agreements
- Provide legal advice to clients on IP-related matters, including patent, trademark, and copyright issues
- Draft and file patent and trademark applications
- Represent clients in IP-related disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, other attorneys, and industry professionals
- Stay up-to-date with changes in IP law and industry trends
Qualifications
- Admission to practice law in California
- At least 3-5 years of experience in intellectual property law
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience drafting and negotiating agreements
- Experience representing clients in IP-related disputes
- Experience in both Federal & State Courts
